The Discovery Center of Springfield is a non-profit science center dedicated to inspiring a lifelong love of learning through engaging, hands-on experiences in STEM. We serve this mission through our science center, school, pre-k, and various educational programs and events.

Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Center Support Staff. This role is integral to the daily operations of the Discovery Center, ensuring a safe, educational, and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Provide excellent customer service to visitors, addressing inquiries and facilitating interactive experiences.
• - Support the coordination and execution of educational programs, events, birthday parties, and field trips.
• - Maintain cleanliness and organization of public and staff areas.

Qualifications:

• - High school diploma or equivalent; current students are encouraged to apply.
• - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• - Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed. Night availability can earn bonus compensation.
• - Passion for science education and community engagement.
