Contractor Scope of Work - Assistant Community Connector
The Assistant Community Connector (“Contractor”) provides the below duties in their territory.
Overview of Company:
The Connection Exchange (“Company”) is a B2B lead generation welcoming service.
Overview of Contract Responsibilities:
Coordinating and performing welcome/connection presentations (“welcome visit”).
Optional additional duties: Managing relationships in a territory which includes new sales, maintaining relationships with customers. Coordinating social/networking events in the community, marketing activities, and community networking.
Welcome/Connection presentations (Welcome Visits):
Developing and maintaining community partnerships and resources that assist in identifying new business/organizational leaders/owners.
Scheduling of welcome visits.
Organizing and keeping inventory for the welcome visit gift bags. Inventory should be kept in a safe, climate controlled location.
Notifying customers of low inventory numbers in a timely fashion so their items can be included in all welcome visit gifts. Scheduling and handling pickup/drop off of inventory from customers.
Packing welcome gifts for each welcome visit.
Presenting new business owners with a welcome visit and meeting a monthly goal of visits.
Inputting accurate data of new business leads into Connection Exchange software as acquired through welcome visits in appropriate time frame based on membership levels.
Sending follow up connection emails and thank you notes as needed.
Posting about new businesses on Connection Exchange social media site(s).
Springfield Specific Goals:
A minimum of 20 welcome visits per month after a reasonable training time period.
The following duties are optional at additional compensation:
Membership sales and account management:
Obtain new customers by planning, prospecting, setting meetings and closing business. A goal of 50 or more on-going memberships in each territory.
Provide sales presentations and close new business.
Prepare required paperwork and activities for onboarding, contracts, etc..
Onboard new customers with provided 90 day plan.
Work directly with company by submitting activity and results reports.
Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and verbal/written communication directly with company and customers.
Service existing customers and vendor trade relationships with additional phone calls, emails, meetings, notes etc..
Payment collection as directed by company.
Renewing customer memberships annually.
Create and market/advertise in your territory based on company guidelines and provided materials. Items may include e-newsletters, social media, blog, etc..
Plan and coordinate any advertising in your territory with local media or local trade shows (upon approval of company).
Plan, host and coordinate a connection social event (networking event) in your community on at least a quarterly schedule.
Attend networking events weekly as a way to prospect new customers and new businesses and represent The Connection Exchange. Submit activity/results reports to company.
General Contract Requirements:
Company will provide and is responsible for:
Business license(s) (as required)
Company branded marketing and administrative collateral
Ongoing administrative and software/tech support
Marketing budget to be determined by location and upon approval by the company to be used for chamber membership, networking groups, advertising
Contractor will provide and is responsible for:
Any and all necessary licenses or approvals to conduct sales and marketing services in the community at the expense of the Community Connections Director
Hardware appropriate to perform the duties outlined above
A vehicle that can be operated in a safe and reliable manner to perform the duties outlined above and vehicle insurance on said vehicle
State issued and valid driver’s license
Property insurance that includes coverage of inventory
Telephone and internet expenses
Contractor is required to:
Use provided email address, processes and server/drive for contract/document saving
Use Company software application
Participate in phone calls regularly with company as requested
