HR/Benefits Administrator

We are currently seeking applicants to join our Human Resources team!  We have a Human Resources/Benefits Administrator position available at our Headquarters office in Springfield, Missouri.  

This position is responsible for employee benefits and administration with cross-training opportunities in payroll and absence management.       


Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Subject matter expert for employee benefits including shared ownership of annual renewal and open enrollment processes, assisting employees with benefits related questions, administration of benefits website, benefit plan administration and compliance, as well as billing and payments 

  • Maintenance and ownership for benefits administration within Workday, our Human Capital Management (HCM) software Generation and maintenance of data, forms and reports necessary to administer employee benefits 

  • Coordination of our corporate wellness program activities to include the company health fair, wellness committee and other wellness initiatives 

  • Regular interactions with internal AECI employees, dependents, retirees as well as third party administrators and vendors 


Job Requirements: 

  • Build and maintain effective relationships utilizing excellent customer service and communication skills while maintaining confidentiality 

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required with advanced education or training, particularly with a human resources emphasis is preferred 

  • At least seven years progressively responsible administrative experience, including at least five years’ experience with benefits administration preferred, but all levels will be considered 

  • Demonstrated experience with a Human Capital Management system 

  • Ability to perform complex troubleshooting of systems, data, and reports 

  • Working knowledge of basic human resources concepts, principles, and practices
