Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:
Calling leads and educating borrowers on loan process and product/service alternatives. (Our marketing team works hard to bring in fresh leads by the truckload so you never do any cold calling.)
Communicating loan status regularly with customers, responding promptly to inquiries and concerns via email and phone.
Analyzing borrowers’ credit for pre-approval or denial of loan applications.
Making initial contact and responding promptly to customer inquiries to collect borrower financial and credit information.
Informing borrowers on future loan documentation requests, including borrowers' income and asset information. Managing internal efforts to resolve application issues.
Processing borrower credit information through online approval system, structuring loans and compiling loan package.
Analyzing and managing numbers to increase and ensure efficiencies and meet company goals.
These roles are a good fit for someone with strong business acumen and the ability to translate and present quantitative information in a professional format. Previous sales experience and an understanding of performance-based marketing metrics is preferred, as is previous mortgage origination experience closing online mortgage leads, and/or previous experience in a call center environment.
