Project Designer - Civil


The Project Designer-Civil will be responsible for accuracy, precision, and completeness of survey drawings to ensure the Company is able to develop and build on time and reduce future setbacks that may occur during design phases. Expedite the in-house production of high quality working drawings to ensure the Company receives a high quality and economical product.

Essential Job Functions

  • Review and maintain standards for ALTA surveys performed for future O'Reilly developments.
  • Assist O'Reilly Legal Services for ALTA survey completeness & accuracy.
  • Coordinate revisions of surveys, order surveys (when necessary) and additional mapping for outside consultants.
  • Compose and review documents including, but not limited to: easement exhibits, legal descriptions, flood mapping and construction related documents.
  • Produce site design drawings for construction projects and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations
  • Research and maintain project documentation through Real Estate management software.
  • Coordinate and communicate with outside consultants and development teams
  • Contact city officials for requirements on new or remodeling projects.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience using AutoCAD.
  • 2 years' experience with an architectural or engineering design firm, which specializes in commercial projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at various stages through completion.  

 This is a full-time position; Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
