The Risk Analyst is responsible for proactively analyzing financial, safety, and claim data., as well as supporting the administration of the corporate insurance program under limited supervision. They will provide support with the day-to-day activities of the Risk Management department.
Essential Job Functions
Proactive analysis of data, providing support for all financial reserving, safety trends, claim metrics, etc. with absolute focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintain and update O'Reilly casualty loss development triangles.
Accurately generate various claim financial reports, including but not limited to Monthly Reserve Reports, Quarterly Reserve Analysis, Store Claim Allocations, etc.
Assist with renewal, marketing, and maintenance of corporate insurance program.
Responsible for reviewing and updating the property insurance statement of values to ensure all properties are properly valued and reported to the property insurance carriers.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Insurance, Risk Management, or two years of relevant work experience.
Strong competency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel databases, and other general technology.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills.
