BLAST Career Fair - Seeking Employers and Agencies

Dear Employers and Community Advocates,

Missouri State University (MSU), Springfield Public Schools, and EnCompass Academy invites you participate in an inclusive employment fair from 10:00 a.m.-noon, Thursday, Nov. 3 on the MSU Campus. Lunch will be provided to the participants beginning at 11:00 AM.

This event is sponsored by BLAST(Bear Learning and Successful Transitions), a diversity, equity, and inclusion grant funded by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks. This inaugural event will help your efforts to recruit qualified employees and efforts to promote inclusiveness in the community.

This event includes employers and organizations in Greene County who have demonstrated a commitment to hiring individuals from diverse background, including those with disabilities. This BLAST employment event is a celebration and recognition of these employers and agencies and an opportunity to reach a group of job seekers to meet identified needs of local businesses and not-for-profits to promote inclusive career opportunities. The Career Center at MSU will promote this event to students in addition to access to potential employees, representatives from area businesses and participants will have an opportunity learn more about the successes and opportunities from the perspective of those from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities.

Parking for the event will be in the Hammons Student Center Parking Lot, across from the building and right next to the soccer fields. There is no charge for this event.

This event will be completely free, with lunch provided! We will be accepting table reservations on a first come, first serve basis up until Wednesday October 19st. Register for the BLAST Employment event below.
