3/26/2024

College of the Ozarks will unveil the INSPIRED Exhibit, showcasing the history of the Bible with approximately 100 manuscripts, artifacts, and rare printed books on display. From April 5 to April 20. Visitors can expect an immersive experience, including the chance to operate a replica of the Gutenberg printing press.

"The INSPIRED Exhibit travels across the globe, with more appearances internationally than domestically," said Dr. Brad Johnson, College of the Ozarks president. "We are honored to host these events for the public."

The exhibit aims to elucidate the journey of the Bible from being the most banned book in history to becoming the world’s all-time bestseller. It offers insight into the writing, preservation, and dissemination of the Bible through the ages, demonstrating its resilience against suppression. Group reservations are encouraged, with morning presentations available for various groups, and individual visitors can sign up for designated tour times. Notably, visitors have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a biblical artifact worth over $500 at the conclusion of their tour. The INSPIRED Exhibit promises an enriching experience for all attendees, providing a deeper understanding of the Bible's historical significance.
