Join us at the Chamber to hear from the Director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED), Michelle Hataway, and her perspective on the opportunities for economic development within the state. She was appointed to this position by Governor Mike Parson in May 2024 and continues her tenure under Governor Mike Kehoe, who reaffirmed her role in November 2024.

Hataway's career with DED spans over nine years, during which she has held various roles, including Regional Manager, Deputy Director, and Director of the Division of Regional Engagement. As Director, Hataway oversees the department's administration, including general counsel, financial systems, budget and planning, legislative affairs, marketing/communications, and human resources.
