Precious K9s is a Dog Training company that specializes in dogs with aggression and anxiety. As a Certified Behavior Consultant, business owner Carrie works with many area Veterinarians to help dogs be more comfortable with their life by adding training and behavior modification to any medical treatment. Cara is Carrie's assistant and office manager, running the daily activities. Lisa, Theresa, Lucrisha, and Jenni are the four PK9s trainers that run the group classes. They specialize in Tricks, Therapy, beginning training, and proper socialization techniques. They are adding contracted trainers to the class list in order to be able to add a new service, dog sports! Classes will include agility, nosework, and eventually frisbee! Group classes are in the evening and private coaching is primarily in the day time. Classes and programs are "by appointment only". Dogs with behavioral issues are given every chance to succeed in their training. The membership program will be offered to people who have had proper training on how to use the equipment...kind of like a human gym membership! Precious K9s is the only dog sports arena and the only dog training facility with 5,000 sq ft of sports astroturf, in this area. No longer do Springfieldians have to travel out of town to enjoy these types of amenities!
