Care to Learn Welcomes First Lady Claudia Kehoe as Honorary Ex Officio Member
Care to Learn is proud to announce the appointment of First Lady Claudia Kehoe as an Honorary Ex Officio Member of its Board of Directors, recognizing her extraordinary leadership, advocacy, and ongoing commitment to making an impact on Missouri children.
Claudia’s passion for helping students in need has helped bring critical support to thousands of children across the state.
“We’re beyond thankful for Claudia’s heart for students and her unwavering belief in the power of meeting basic needs,” said Krystal Simon, CEO of Care to Learn. “She continues to make a lasting impact in Missouri, and we’re so grateful for her ongoing involvement, leadership, and her statewide perspective.”
Currently, Care to Learn partners with more than 45 school districts in 22 counties across the state of Missouri, providing access to critical health, hunger, and hygiene resources to more than 110,000 students. Over the past 17 years, Care to Learn has provided more than $18 million in support to these Missouri communities.
“I have had the opportunity to visit Care to Learn and see the mission and impact firsthand," said Claudia. “I’m excited to further support their work so that every child can come to school ready to learn and grow.”
As an Honorary Ex Officio Member, Claudia will continue to provide wisdom and guidance to the board while serving in a non-voting, advisory role. This honorary designation is a tribute to her enduring legacy of supporting students in need.
