Description

Senator Dave Schatz was elected in 2014 to represent District 26 the Missouri Senate, which encompasses Franklin and West St. Louis County. He currently serves as the Senate President Pro Tem, and was elected to this leadership position by his peers. Prior to his time in the Senate he served two terms in the Missouri House of Representatives.

Sen. Schatz has been an advocate for several business-community priorities, including leading on the 2021 passage of a long-term transportation funding source. Outside of his legislative duties, he is the vice president of Schatz Underground, a family-run business.
