Join Chamber members on Wednesday, June 5, at 7:30 a.m. to hear insights from the 2024 State Legislative Session from Representative Melanie Stinnett! Session will conclude on Friday, May 17.
Stinnett proudly represents Greene County (District 133) in the Missouri House of Representatives, elected to her first term in November 2022. In addition to her legislative duties, Stinnett is a healthcare executive and speech-language pathologist. A majority of her career has been spent as a small business owner with a recent transition to working in the non-profit sector.
In the legislature, Stinnett serves as the Vice-Chairman of the House Committee on Healthcare Reform and is a member of the House Subcommittee on Appropriations for Health, Mental Health, and Social Services, among other committee service. Stinnett and her husband Nathan reside in Springfield with their two sons.
